sherlockcomic asked: Hey, I'm a brand new writer (just finished a novel today! Hurray!) and I was wondering something I'm sure tons of people have asked you. How many novels have you written that have been rejected by publishers? How do you deal with them?
Just one. My first, from when I was, what, just 22 I think.
I deal with it by keeping it in the attic in a box. I found it and read it to my youngest daughter in about 2002, and I very was relieved it had never been published, and I sent it back up to live in the attic again.
