space-geisha asked: How would you want people to remember you 100 years later?
It’s odd. I do not want people to remember me. BUT I want people to keep reading and discovering my books and comics and poems and so on. Honestly, I kind of like the idea of being semi-forgotten, so that each person who stumbles across something I’ve written, and likes it, can think of me as their own private discovery — this obscure 20th/21st century author, who no-one else in their school, pod, zone or L5 colony has ever heard of. But they have. And then if they meet someone else who has, they will know they have found a kindred soul.
That’s what I’d like.
