Gotta say though, many friends of mine who are teachers, are lovely people but they almost turn that off in the classroom ( in the US) and become pretty dogmatic and inflexible. Maybe that’s what they need to do to keep order but it doesn’t appear they have little tolerance for kiddos who can’t sit down, shut up and be compliant little sponges.So my kids attended private school where there is more tolerance of discussion and developing critical thinking. Makes me sad.
