She likes to write out her reactions to funny moments or when someone does something particularly stupid on the page. I don’t like this simply because the notes tend to distract me from the moment and my own reaction, it brings be back to reality. She seemed oddly sad when I asked her to stop, so now we’ve agreed I can read the books first and she’s free to make notes. Win-win! :D
