  8. micpanda said: It’s a decent introduction to the “deep insightful analysis at the drop of hat” that AP Lit calls for especially since a lot of the texts/short stories/novels you’ll go over in class tend to be more difficult to immediately access in a “critical thinking” sense. But honestly, as the school year goes on and the amount of texts y'all will analyze together grows and you generally are strengthening that skill it’ll get easier.
