Hey, I'm just wondering isn't Warlock in "Good Omens" technically British-American? I know he was raised by American parents but he grew up in London, so it's not like one parent is British and the other American. But does that still mean he's Brit-American? I've noticed in the show how he has an American accent, but he'll use some English vocabulary heard in the UK. Thanks!

Well, he was born in the UK – in Tadfield – so he could get a UK passport if he needed one. So, yes. Technically British-American.
Well, no actually. In most countries, including the UK, children born of diplomats serving abroad are not entitled to citizenship in the host country. Unless Warlock’s mother was of a different nationality than his diplomat father, and thus did not have diplomatic status as Dad’s “dependent” - then his birth on UK territory might create citizenship rights.
If Warlock was born before 1983 though, he WOULD be able to attain dual citizenship.
The rules changed in 83’, and since then children born to diplomats/foreign military/etc are allowed to live in the country with their parents for the duration of their stay, but are not on a path to permanent residency or citizenship.

Got it. So Book Warlock can have UK citizenship but TV Warlock can’t…
