We all know your position about your books, but with someone else's is it just a matter of the author's consent? Is there a blog post or similar where you go deep on this? I'll be glad to read it. I think author’s consent – people’s consent – is the most important thing there is. It’s good manners to respect their wishes, if nothing else. That applies to authors, relationships, people’s pronouns.
