You remember how I told everyone the plot of Season 2 before it aired?

(Everyone tries to remember and then shakes their heads.)

That’s right. I didn’t. I spent several years going “wait and see”. And you waited and you saw.

I’m not going to reveal any of the plot of Season 3, either. So there’s really no point in asking me to make things happen, or to tell me what you do or you don’t want to happen. I’m not going to.

Oooh look at the Czech Figure Skating team using Good Omens music for their Ice Dancing! :)

A lovely article, but it gives me much too much credit. A Companion to Owls was written by my brilliant GO2 co-writer John Finnemore.

Hi Mr.Gaiman!

First of all, thank you so much for GO2.

It's true that when I saw it for the first time, my heart broke into pieces, but the more time passed, the more I was convinced that this was the best ending for this story.

But sir, I have a question. In episode 3, when Crowley And Aziraphale were in the graveyard, why didn't Azirapiel perform a miracle to disable the security system and thus keep Maria alive?

Because he didn’t think of it.

Hello sir! not a question, but I actually liked the ending. It feels a lot real, like it feels human. I felt that the sense of ambiguity was really well done in the end and reading everyone's opinions and headcannons about the ending made me realize how different everyone's point of view is and this also make me aware that both Azira and Crowley loved each other but expressed differently and their difference in viewing things had caused misunderstanding. Sorry for ranting but i really felt the need to thank you

You are very welcome.

The entire series is incredible, but I have to shout out Reece Shearsmith - Furfur's attempts to say "Aziraphale" made me full on cackle

As a League of Gentlemen fan, I have to say a huge thank you for bringing them all together again, along with the amazing Andy Nyman

That was all Reese. (It wasn’t in the script. He texted me before he did it to ask if he could, and I said definitely.)

Remember there were also two Jeremy Dysons present.

I wanted to say, because you're the easiest person to thank for this - I've always struggled with suicidal thoughts (I promise this isn't *too* dark). But after watching GOS2, I've noticed whenever my head starts drifting to that bad place, I start hearing Crowley's little Scottish drunk-off-Laudanum voice going "noooo dying. No dying!" And it helps more than years of therapy ever did. So I guess thank you for writing that, and also thank David Tennant for delivering that.

I’m proud of you!

GOOD OMENS KICKSTARTER DELUXE COLLECTORS EDITIONS

DUNMANIFESTIN wasn’t kidding when they said the purpose of the GOOD OMENS campaign was to be able to create editions of books just the way they wanted them.

The campaign features nifty new add-ons like these A.Z. Fell Socks and tote bags, but you can also get an oversized limited edition of the Good Omens graphic novel, a deluxe signed limited edition, and limited editions of WILLIAM THE ANTICHRIST by Neil Gaiman with illustrations by Paul Kidby, in color for the first time.

Fine quality, handsome books for an angelic library.

6 Days left in the Kickstarter!

Okay. Last week, and we have spent three weeks pondering how quickly the top tiers had sold out and apologizing to the people who hadn’t managed to get in there in the first 48 hours. So we came up with some alternatives. Lots of wonderful add-ons and a whole new level (containing some of those add-ons).

livebreathewords asked:

good omens started out as something deeply collaborative between you and the wonderful Terry Pratchett. You’ve said before that writing the love between Aziraphale and Crowley was, in part, because “they needed more of a plot than they had in the book”.

What do you think Terry would have thought about their relationship now?

(thank you for creating something that has comforted, inspired and emotionally destroyed me)

Given the conversations we had in 2006 about the sequel, I think he would have been very happy.
