I had very little respect for Margaret Thatcher’s ideologies or policies when she was alive.
I didn’t know her, so did not dislike her or judge her as a person. Her policies were divisive and unfortunate.
I think that if you were, in life, a prime minister you deserve to be remembered for your policies, and her death reminded me of the only overtly political comic I’ve ever been moved to do.
While I’m definitely Left of most US political parties, I’m probably still affable-woolly-middle in UK terms. And trust me, the affable-woolly-middle did not think much of her policies either.
