The one who wrote Coraline, and co-wrote the book of Good Omens and made the TV show, also the Sandman comics writer and co-creator who made the Sandman TV show. Quite nice really.
I remember seeing somewhere that @neil-gaiman enjoyed signing well loved books and so I present the family copy of Neverwhere! It started out with my grandma and has now done the rounds of basically everyone we know who can read. Along the way we managed to loose both covers and most of the foreword. It also got dropped in the bath and I spent an afternoon hairdrying it.
“I don’t write sequels” is a somewhat amusing thing to read now,
Ah yes. Here in the days of Better Omens, Another Helping of Stardust, Coraline Rides Again, Yet More American Gods, and The Graveyard’s Other Book, we look back on my 2005 naivety in writing that and smile.
(Actually I’d love to read all of those. And all of them except Coraline actually do have lots more story in my head.)
