Check out this sweet bookmark I designed for Neil Gaiman’s Neverwear to celebrate Old Hallows Read!
They are sending them to book stores all over the country and giving them away free with any purchase on their website. (Whilst supplies last)
http://www.neverwear.net/store/
Best of all they work in ANY book! Not ebooks though. (Warning: do not attempt to use these in your ebooks. They can severely damage your device.)
If you would like to see some creep into your local purveyor of books reach out to Neverwhere through their Facebook page, Twitter (@neverwear) , Tumblr or open your windows and scream REALLY REALLY loud so they can hear you.
Neil Gaiman, author of things, explains All Hallow’s Read, a Tradition that was just waiting to happen. Full Details at www.allhallowsread.com. Nobody was actually killed during the making of this video.
And give someone a scary book at Hallowe’en.
For the puzzled…

Neil Gaiman has decided it’s time for us to create a new Halloween tradition called,All Hallow’s Read. The premise, as you will hear in the video, is to give someone a scary book to read for Halloween. It’s that simple and I love it!
It was about time someone came up with a new and wonderful tradition for Halloween.
I’ve already begun thinking of which books I am going to gift this year.
What’s your favorite scary book? Which one would you choose to gift?
2013. it’s coming again…
Give someone a scary book for Hallowe'en. Watch the video. It explains everything.

My All Hallows Read gift bag design for my Dimensional Design course. I am a Graphic Design student and a huge Neil Gaiman fan. I’m the one that did this painting and has this Stardust tattoo.
We had to design and construct a gift bag for some upcoming holiday and I chose All Hallows Read. Unfortunately, it photographed.. pretty terrible. Unfortunately, again, I was not operating the camera. One day I’ll re-photograph it, but for now, I wanted to get it posted in time for Halloween!
I also included the layout of the design itself. The moons are actually laser cut out, but again, hard to see in the photographs.
Can this be a real thing next year, somehow?
Neil Gaiman’s Holiday:
All Hallow’s Read is a Hallowe’en tradition. It’s simply that in the week of Hallowe’en, or on the night itself, you give someone a scary book.
