I’m very fond of the idea of giving kids scary books this season, but I’m not really sure the best way to find more kids to give them to (short of an old van with “Free Books” on the side). I’m wondering if you know of a trustworthy charitable organization that distributes books to children in need? It would be great if we could organize something with scale. I am willing to commit a couple hundred dollars to this, but I’m an under 30 bachelor that doesn’t know a lot of people with kids :-/
I’m throwing this one out to the hivemind of Tumblr. (But would add that All Hallow’s Read isn’t just about giving kids scary books as well as candy. It’s about getting people reading – people of all ages…)
