somebogwitch asked: Concerning Angela, did you have any input into how she was drawn (namely the lack of any not ridiculous armour)? I'm a big fan of your work but the design of Angela by Joe Quesada and others grates a lot as a long-suffering female comic book reader. Any chance of a redesign there?
I think Joe wanted to make her recognizable to all the people who remembered the character from the original issues, while she saves up for a cardigan. So I’m sure that we’ll be seeing more Angela costumes as she settles into the Marvel Universe.
The original character design was by Todd McFarlane in 1992, and I didn’t really have any input then. Or at least, I described someone to him, but she was dressed more warmly.

First Look at how Neil Gaiman’s Angela will appear in the Marvel Universe
It’s true.
It’s also true that, since the first time Todd drew her back in ‘92, I’ve thought, “I wonder if she owns a cardigan…? She must be so chilly.”
