Mason plays Desire… they reached out on Twitter and asked me who was casting director as they wanted to try out for the role. And then they crushed the auditions…

It’s 2021. I can’t imagine casting a non-binary character any other way.
We auditioned several fabulous non-binary actors, who were good, but not right, and then we thought to reach out to Mx Bond, and immediately knew that we had found our Desire.

Speaking of love, I’m in love with the idea of Desire in the style of Patrick Nagel’s minimalist graphic illustrations so I wanted to bring the character to life like this. It’s no studio set but not bad for a Halloween dinner party
