Anne and I became friends after Colleen moved away. She was the town orthodontist’s daughter. I thought this meant she was rich. On the playground at recess we would pretend we were witches, North Witch, South Witch, East Witch, West Witch and we stood at four different trees that probably weren’t in their correct direction. I was always confused why we didn’t have a North West witch or like a South East witch but I never said anything because we didn’t have that many friends. One day Anne said she picked up a phone with her mind and this made me so hopeful for the rest of the world. On another day I realized she was lying but it didn’t make me lose hope for the world, it just made me look for magic in other places other than Anne.
Potentially the best thing to happen on the internet today.
It seems so neat when it’s laid out like that.
